Viking New Student Orientation is designed to help make a successful transition into Del Mar College for both first-time and transfer students. A new requirement has been put in place for all new students to attend an orientation or a hold will be placed on their record until completion.
Each workshop is based on a student’s individual degree plan. Students in the Division of Health Sciences & Professional Education, Division of Business, Industrial and Public Safety Education had their orientation Nov. 19 in the Retama Room in the Harvin Center on East Campus. Students in the Division of Arts and Sciences had theirs Nov. 21 in Richardson Performance Hall.
