The topic of gun control has been a hot issue in the media and in presidential debates. However, in August a law took effect in Texas allowing students at public universities the right to carry their guns on campus if they are concealed carry permit holders. A new Texas law allows individuals who have obtained a concealed handgun license to carry their loaded, concealed weapon in college and university buildings. Since the law took effect on Aug. 24 at the University of Texas, several students have led protests against it on campus by wielding sex toys to display their disagreement over conceal and carry.
