The 49th annual National Drawing and Small Sculpture Show is now taking applications for next year’s show, set for Feb. 20 to May 8, 2015.

The juror selected to judge the show is Chris Ramsey, an artist and an art professor at Oklahoma State University. His artwork is composed of objects that he has collected and arranged to pursue his interests in conservation, life cycles and his relationship to nature.

The exhibition is open to all U.S. artists except full-time Del Mar College faculty members. To enter you must fill out an entry form, include a nonrefundable fee of $20 per two entries plus $5 for each additional entry, and send a picture or slide of your work for acceptance.

For more information on how to enter pick up a pamphlet in the Fine Arts Building or contact the Art Office at 361-698-1216. The purchase prizes are for two sculptures at $2,000 and one drawing for $1,000.
