Early registration and advising are now open for spring 2015 at Del Mar College.
Del Mar College students can enroll for spring classes through Dec. 17. Early registration will help students get the classes they need and at more convenient times.
There are many ways of enrollment. The Division of Students Outreach and Enrollment center can answer any questions regarding the admission process.
There are three locations:
- East Campus at Harvin Center, Room 127. Open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; 698-1290.
- West Campus at Coleman Center, Room 106. Open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday; 698-1741.
- Northwest Center at the West Building. Open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday; 698-2450.
You can register at either campus, but be sure to be on the campus that houses your major because this will be where your adviser is located. Call first to make an appointment to see your adviser. You can also register online at www.delmar.edu/webdmc.
Is important to submit your payment on time to secure your seat. The deadline is Jan. 5, 2015. Call Del Mar Financial Aid, choose cahiers option to ask for payment plans available. You can also look up information at www.delmar.edu.
Online registration through WebDMC is available to students who meet all admission requirements.
Is important for students to know that if they have 24-plus hours they are not required to be advised before registering. All other students must be cleared through advising before they will be able to register via the Web.
Web registration may also be accessed from the Online Student Computer Assisted Resources (OSCAR) stations on the first and second floors of the Harvin Student Center on the East Campus and in the Barth Learning Resources Center on the West Campus.
Another important point is to have your immunizations up to date; by state law the meningitis immunization is required for all new students 21 or younger.
Spring 2015 is just around the corner; make sure to enroll on time.
