Each spring faculty, administrators and students nominate sophomore students for consideration to the highest honor that can be bestowed on a Del Mar College student: the Hall of Fame. Selection is based on student scholarship, leadership and participation in Registered Student Organizations.

A committee elects students from the list of nominees to join a select and distinguished group of students whose photographs are placed on the Hall of Fame walls located in the Harvin Center.

The Del Mar College Hall of Fame has been recognizing students and their academic, as well as leadership, skills for over 66 years. The Hall of Fame was first started in 1949 and has been a tradition for Del Mar College ever since, for it displays the photographs and achievements of over 370 student inductees throughout the years. This year’s winners will be announced May 12.
