Intramurals has begun for the 2024 spring semester. In case you missed the registration date for the 150 Mile Bike Challenge, 100 Mile Walk/Run Challenge, or 40K Swim Challenge, there are plenty of upcoming virtual and in-person events to choose from.
Popular events from past semesters will make a return such as the Skate Party and Color Run. The Skate Party will be held at Sk8tland on Feb. 22. Be sure to register by Feb. 20. The Color Run will take place on March 7. Pre-registration is recommended but you will also be able to sign up on site the day of. Don’t forget to wear white.
Backyard Games will be ongoing at all campuses. You can expect to see them around campus every Monday at the Heritage Campus, Tuesdays at the Windward Campus and Wednesdays at Oso Creek Campus.
If you find yourself with a jam-packed schedule this semester, consider virtual events and challenges. Virtual events are a great way to participate in exercise but at a time that is convenient for you and your schedule. Once you find a virtual event you would like to participate in, just fill out the Intramural Sports Activity Entry Form. You can find a list of virtual events and recreation hours online at delmar.edu.
Attached below is the schedule for in-person intramural sports. Zumba, Water Fitness and Yoga will begin this month. You can scan the QR code to register for any events and to find out more information about upcoming events.
