Beach Fest was supposed to be held March 15-17.  According to Israel Dinn, talent/security supervisor of Beach Fest, the event was shut down due to several factors.

“Now these vendors and non-profits are out the money they invested,” said Dinn.

Comics Live Comedy Club has pulled together and is hosting “The We’re Not Getting Cancelled Fundraiser” tonight at 7pm.

According to Dinn, these non-profits and vendors had stocked up on supplies and food to sell during the event.

“The reason were doing this is to give back to our people that took a loss,” said Anthony “Nino B.” Lopez, part owner of Comics Live Comedy Club (1214 North Chaparral/adjacent to Railroad Seafood Station.)

“We should all get together and help each other out,” said Nino B.

According to Dinn and Nino B, there will be magicians, comedians and live music at the event. Also all profits will be going back to those that were affected.
