Obama’s community college plan met with excitement

QEP Essay Contest awards cash scholarships

Fortunately, there are myriad scholarship opportunities available for students. One example is the QEP Essay Contest that was held at Del Mar College in the fall of 2014. The QEP, or Quality Enhancement Plan, and the Vikings Alumni Association put together this scholarship opportunity for students. The students who participated in the contest were required to write a 300- to 500-word essay on the usefulness of algebra concepts in non-math classes. After the game’s official announcement and hyping through screenshots, gameplay information and media briefings, my expectations were high until I finally played it. More than 40 characters from different Nintendo franchises are available. You get Wes Anderson’s first stop-motion film, “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” The story is of an urbane fox, voiced by George Clooney, who cannot resist returning to his farm-raiding ways and must help his community survive the farmers’ retaliation.
