Former editor-in-chief

The past two years spent with the journalism staff have harbored some of my most treasured memories. Had it not been for the encouragement, and sometimes bullying, of Cody Bahn, Raul Alonzo and Eddie Puente I never would have tried out for a position here at the paper. With the support and guidance from “Muiley” and the scars of “Beckett’s” notorious red pen I now have the knowledge and confidence to continue my education and career in the journalism world.

Del Mar was … interesting. Never in my life did I think I’d be in the same classroom with someone twice my age and nearly half my age. Dude with a guitar (yes, all 20 of you), even though you played the same three songs anytime I’d pass you, you still made my day. Douche with a long board, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t half hoping you tripped every time you sped past me on my way to class. Foghorn Staff, I hope you eventually find all the pictures of Nicolas Cage I hid around the lab.

All jokes aside, Del Mar College was the hope I needed to fulfill my goals that were unfortunately cast aside after some misfortune. To my professors, thank you for everything you did for me and thank you for giving me something to look forward to. I finally did it! Vikings!
