Halloween Fun Run — don’t be scared

Annual 5K run features prizes for best costumes

Del Mar College will host its annual Halloween 5K run at 3 p.m. Oct. 29. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend this year’s run to enjoy lots of door prizes and free smoothies courtesy of Smoothie King.

The run is being held at the East Campus gymnasium/track; everyone is encouraged wear their best costume, with prizes given for the top two. The top 15 runners will also receive a free event T-shirt. Registration is available online at the Del Mar College website, or at the Intramural Sports office from 2-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
