Students receive advice from TAMU-CC on Transfer Day

Del Mar College joins with TAMU-CC today with Transfer Day. Several departments from the college of business to the college of military service offered advising to students interested in transferring over to the university.

“We love the Del Mar students,” said Dr. Jerilee Milligan, who helps in the Islander Transition Center at TAMU-CC. “We want to help them and not let them be nervous when they are ready to transfer.”

Texas A&M does Transfer Day once a year to help students with any questions for the next step after Del Mar College.

“We want students to talk to us early about the courses they need to take so that everything will flow very smooth when they come over to the university,” said Patricia Hill, director of transfer.

Transfer Day takes place in the Harvin Center on Del Mar College’s East Campus from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.
