Del Mar’s Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education chapter recently helped feed families at the local Ronald McDonald House.
Members cooked a breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits, hash browns and cereal on Oct. 20.
They also got a chance to talk to several of the families who reside at the home.
“It really is a good feeling to give a little bit of our time back to our community,” said TACHE President Christopher Hernandez.
The group is open to any Del Mar students who would like to join.
