Del Mar College’s David Abarca continues to climb the ladder of success, being recruited by the FBI to lead a special interest group for the Coastal Bend. Del Mar College celebrated the service of military veterans on Veterans Day by holding a memorial on East Campus and offering free haircuts on West Campus. People gathered in the Retama Room in the Harvin Center on East Campus to commemorate the loss of those who have served honorably in the U.S. armed forces. Corpus christi Democratic Socialists of America hosted event for activities The Corpus Christi Democratic Socialists of America hosted a protest safety and de-escalation training on Feb. 22. The training aimed at equipping protesters with tools for managing conflict and ensuring safety during demonstrations.
